Web Developer, Central London, 3 months, £250-£300 a day dependant on experience (J416)

An agency specialising in information management and systems integration are looking for an interface developer to join their existing team. You should have a strong portfolio which demonstrates evidence of having worked on standards compliant, large scale web build projects. Essential skills include:

XHTML

CSS

OO Javascript/ Jquery/ Ajax

MVC design patterns

PHP or Java

Cross browser compatibility knowledge

Accessibility expertise

Experience building bespoke frameworks or using existing ones such as Spring, Drupal or Zend

You must also be a strong communicator who enjoys working as part of a team.

This job is based in London for a period of 3 months and the rate is £250-£300 per day.

Digital Developer, London, circa 40k Ref j394

A creative and DM agency who solely deal with clients in the charity sector are  looking for a talented web developer to join their growing digital team. You will be working across a wide range of projects including Facebook applications, on-line software applications, websites and emails. You must have a strong commercial portfolio that demonstrates working on similar projects.

  Essential skills and experience:

  • CMS experience -  (Drupal ,Typo3, Joomla!, Mambo, MODx,) with the ability to create new CMS components or update existing ones
  • Payment Gateway integration – either through an ecommerce or related site
  • Creation of a online admin financial product
  • XML 
  • OO PHP 5 At least 3-7yrs experience
  • MySQL 5.0+
  • OO JavaScript
  • AJAX
  • XHTML & CSS
  • Demonstrated ability to architect and build scalable, high performing and reliable systems

 You should have a strong programming background with some formal training and qualifications. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious developer to work with some fantastic brands and on projects where you will really be making a difference.
