Resource Manager, London, £35-45k

A successful digital agency are looking for an organised and pro-active Resource Manager to join a large, busy department. Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Resource forecasting, including resource reviews and maintaining accurate resource schedules
  • Liaising with Project Managers and Account Managers to enable a good understanding of project pipeline
  • Identifying skills gaps in the team in order to plug areas in line with future projects
  • Maintaining and managing a large freelance database
  • Resource allocation across projects on weekly basis
  • Overseeing and managing a large design team – assessing individual performance
  • Managing the teams time to ensure prompt and cost effective project delivery

As an individual it is essential you are multi-tasker who is unflappable and enjoys working under pressure. You must have excellent communication skills and be able to tactfully deal with designers, developers, project managers – anyone who crosses your path on a day to day basis! This role will also be client facing so you should have had some client facing responsibilities in your last role, excellent organisation and admin skills are also essential. This role would suit someone who has worked in a busy digital department and has a good understanding of the on and off line production processes.

Recruitment Assistant £18K – £20K

Futureheads is a digital recruitment business. The three directors  are well known and respected for their recruitment experience within the digital space who are now looking to hire a Recruitment Assistant to support our team.

This is a candidate-focussed position which will work mainly in to one of our Directors, who drives the project management stream of our business.

On a day to day basis you would be assisting with the resourcing and placement of digital experts who are highly skilled, creative and often very senior.
The role is also crucial in providing administrative, business development, marketing and database support to the lead consultant.
Essential requirements for this role are impeccable communication skills and proven administration experience with a thoroughly organised approach and excellent attention to detail. It would be a great advantage to have commercial experience within the world of digital media and/or an exposure to recruitment or sales-led environments. You’ll be pro-active, enjoy research and be able to multi task with a highly organised approach which means you can cope with a busy workload in a fast paced environment. You’ll enjoy supporting a team, be able to work autonomously when required, and you’ll definitely be bright and ambitious with a hunger for learning and acquiring new skills.

Project Manager £35k – £45k

Our client is a highly creative well respected London based digital agency, looking for a mid weight Project Manager to work with a range of clients. An excellent opportunity to work with top agency and grow your Project Management and exposure to a breadth of different brands.

As project manager you will oversee creative and technical projects end to end liaising with creative teams and client services.  You will work across webistes, applications, campaigns an very varied role.  This is an opportunity to work with a fantastic and very dedicated digital team.  If you are a Project Manager who wants to work for a larger agency and you have excellent project management best practice then this is the role for you.

 Experience required:

  • Digital experience on creative accounts / at a creatively focused agency ideally
  • Experience of managing the delivery of websites, media, apps, directories, e-crm and working closely with 3rd parties and client tech teams as well as broader campaigns – supporting the programme management
  • Be comfortable presenting to and conversing with clients and account team at various levels
  • c. 4 years experience of Project Management
  • Experience of producing digital communications
  • Confident managing of multiple projects with a complex and challenging client organisation / multi-stakeholder environment

Senior Project Manager – highly respected agency – £55k

Our client is an award winning digital agency who have just won a really exciting account who are looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead the account.  An ideal opportunity for a Senior Project Manager who wants complete autonomy and is looking to move into a Project Direct role in the future.

Our client has recently been awarded a new account,  Digital will be central to their future business strategy.  Our client will be developing a digital strategy for their client and moving quickly into multiple delivery projects to realise that strategy.  So as Senior Project Manager this is a great opportunity to join a new account and take ownership of it. There is also the potential to move into a Project Director role in the future as the account grows.

 The successful Senior Project Manager will be the lead project manager on the account and should look to identify potential delivery synergies.

 In the early stages of the account the Senior Project Manager will be delivering multiple, transactional websites so experience of this kind is essential.  There will also be a number of other projects in-progress at the same time, potentially including email, mobile and microsite projects.  These projects will be at different stages of development and release, so the successful Senior Project Manager must have experience of working on concurrent projects with multiple stakeholders. 

 Close management of all projects is essential.  The Project Manager will be expected to identify dependencies and risks and propose appropriate mitigation strategies.  They must be in control of project finances and timelines at all times as well as ensure scope of work and change management is adhered to.

 Essential Skills

  • Digital experience on creative accounts / at a creatively focused agency
  • Experience of managing Project Managers great but not essential
  • Experience of managing multiple projects concurrently
  • Delivery of large websites (transactional site delivery ideal)
  • Be comfortable presenting to and conversing with clients at various levels
  • Experience of working in Financial Services or in a heavily regulated, highly secure technology environment
