An agency specialising in corporate communications are looking for an established Digital Designer to join them on a contract basis, until December 2010. Working as part of the design team, with off-line designers and a Creative Director, you will be responsible for leading a number of digital projects from a creative perspective. It is essential that you are ideas driven with strong conceptual abilities with the skills to lead a project. You must enjoy the challenges inherent with corporate design and be passionate about the digital works and away of online trends.

Although a contract position this role should be viewed as a career move, it’s an opportunity to learn and develop and take real ownership of projects. Your work will include design of websites, online reports and some animation pieces, so a portfolio that demonstrates high calibre, polished, corporate design work is essential for this role.

Essential Knowledge and skills:

A successful digital agency are looking for an organised and pro-active Resource Manager to join a large, busy department. Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Resource forecasting, including resource reviews and maintaining accurate resource schedules
  • Liaising with Project Managers and Account Managers to enable a good understanding of project pipeline
  • Identifying skills gaps in the team in order to plug areas in line with future projects
  • Maintaining and managing a large freelance database
  • Resource allocation across projects on weekly basis
  • Overseeing and managing a large design team – assessing individual performance
  • Managing the teams time to ensure prompt and cost effective project delivery

As an individual it is essential you are multi-tasker who is unflappable and enjoys working under pressure. You must have excellent communication skills and be able to tactfully deal with designers, developers, project managers – anyone who crosses your path on a day to day basis! This role will also be client facing so you should have had some client facing responsibilities in your last role, excellent organisation and admin skills are also essential. This role would suit someone who has worked in a busy digital department and has a good understanding of the on and off line production processes.

A leading integrated corporate communications agency are looking for a Digital Designer to join them and work across their design and digital teams.

As an individual you must be a passionate designer, and dedicated to the digital industry – someone who blogs, tweets and networks outside of your standard working day, with an inquisitive mind and desire to constantly learn more. Whilst hands on development skills are not needed in this position you should be someone who understands technology with an interest in emerging trends and technologies you should be aware of what solutions might be appropriate to enhance your designs and meet the clients needs. A natural user centred design approach is essential and you should enjoy getting involved in the User Experience of the project, often working along side a UE specialist, but with the ability to muck in and creative documentation yourself. You must have previous Flash development experience, preferably within a multidisciplinary environment. You will be able to build and test rich flash based internet applications, design and build flash components and applications for multiple clients on both short and long term projects.
