A large Media organisation in West London are currently looking for a an AS3/ JQuery developer with extensive experience of the Twitter, Facebook and other social media APIs. It is essential you have this experience as you will be working in a fast paced environment and although you’ll be part of a team you will ultimately be working autonomously. Some MySQL and PHP experience is also advantageous for this role.

Social Media Project Manager £35k -£40k (ref J251)

Our client is a research and digital agency focusing on consumer engagement who are looking for a Digital Project Manager to oversee a range of digital work with an emphasis on social media campaigns/platforms.  A really interesting role. 

Our client is currently looking for a dedicated and passionate digital PM to work across a multitude of accounts.

Responsibilities:

*    You will be responsible for managing  all the web development and social media projects,  which includes our clients website sites and blogs, co-creation of communities  any bespoke communities and all social media projects developed for the brands they are working with.

*    You will live and breath social media and ideally write a blog or at least be active on a microblogging sites like Twitter or Tumblr.

*    The nature of this account will mean that you must be able to lead a project, not be led.

*    Digital project management experience is a must, 5 years or more, ideally in a digital agency or a web startup.

*    You will be user experience orientated with a creative appreciation and have a natural ability to work closely with the client.

*    You will manage the full lifecycle of web site and web application development and other digital projects. Working closely with clients and internal teams, managing the definition, design, development and delivery process.

The role includes:

• participating into the design of a proposal to respond to a brief;
• participating and occasionally lead proposals pitches and debrief meetings with the client;
• designing the production process, including specs, wireframes, information architecture, use-cases, cost estimates and timing plans;
• managing the creatives and developers teams to achieve development on budget and on schedule;
• managing web development testing to assess the quality of the development process;
• managing maintenance and ongoing development of Face online communities;
• monitor websites performance using web analytics tools, flag potential issues and weaknesses, understand trends, suggest actions to be taken;
• manage the web presence across a range of social media accounts and blogs and contribute to our clients blogs.

Salary £35K – £40K (based on experience)

Our client is a well known and successful agency looking for a digital Project Manager who has ideally got solid experience of overseeing social media campaigns within an agency environment.  You need to be an experience digital Project Manager most importantly with the social media experience as a strong desirable.

A rare opportunity has arisen for a Senior Project Manager to work with one of our clients leading creative brands. This household name has made a real commitment to develop their brand within the digital space and push the envelope particularly within the social media environment. As such our client is looking for a Senior Project Manager who has the experience and expertise to ensure that they deliver these new and innovative projects to time and to budget whilst managing risks and issues appropriately throughout.

As the lead Project Manager managing the digital delivery of the account you will be primarily responsible for efficient scoping, management and delivery of a continuous program of projects which will vary in size and complexity. This client facing role will be supported and line managed by a Project Director.

The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate their knowledge and experience in the following areas:

Required

  • Minimum five years managing full project lifecycle gained ideally within a digital agency background
  • Minimum one year managing at Senior PM level
  • Experienced at dealing with individual projects over £150k
  • Strong senior stakeholder management skills at an internal and external level
  • Strong awareness of current digital developments particularly in the field of social media
  • Skilled at using MS Project

Highly desirable

  • Experienced at setting up and managing projects within a large social media campaign environment
  • PRINCE2 certified
  • Experienced at managing the delivery of applications and content across multiple social networking channels (most notably Facebook)
  • Working knowledge of SEO fundamentals
  • Experienced at managing programs of work encompassing multiple projects of varying size and complexity
  • Thorough understanding of QA lifecycle and processes

Desirable

  • Experienced at managing Augmented Reality applications

Our client has a good track record of integrating social media into their clients’ campaigns. However, they want to boost this to become a leading social media marketing agency as part of their offering.  A great opportunity for a Senior Project Manager or Account Director with a strong commercial background in Social Media to formalize their experience as the leader of a social media team. 

As Director of Social Media you will work alongside the Senior Management Team (MD, Commercial Director and Client Services Director). You will be happy to take a strategic view as well as get your hands dirty with the implementation, refine our clients social media division’s offering/’sell’ and be pro-active and innovative in taking this out to market to win new clients. Background Experience

  • You will: be passionate about social media on a personal level and make use of all common and less common forms of social media; either blog yourself and/or subscribe to key technology and other related blogs; have a strong network of relevant contacts in the social media space, enabling you to keep abreast of the latest developments and trends in this area.
  • You will be able to think strategically about the best social media solution for clients, sell this convincingly to clients and be both adept and comfortable at presenting to clients at a senior level.
  • You should have examples of highly successful campaigns you have run previously with clear results against client KPIs. Ideally, you will be able to showcase award winning campaigns in this space in which you’ve had an instrumental role.
