Creative News & Views - 06/02/2012
Welcome to another edition of my weekly news and views. I've got a nice varied selection this week, ranging from UI principles through to some inspiring logo stories. As always, we'd love to know your views on all of the articles.

Great article from the chief of design at Android, asking why we're all still using the same UI paradigms. Interesting points about creating an emotional response between product and user.
New BBC Sport Website - http://bit.ly/wZUA5p
The new BBC sport website launched last week and has had some mixed reviews. As a big user I really like the new content, infographics, and the look and feel. Some criticisms that it's "too stripped back" – What do you think?
Top 20 Slogans - http://bit.ly/Aj6Gsa
Now I'm going to endorse creative review a bit here because this selection of the top 20 slogans and the stories behind them is brilliant. Who would have thought 'Heinz Meanz Beanz' was thought up in a pub? To get the full article you'll have to buy the magazine. Endorsement over.
