Welcome to Technical news and Views for February. This month has a more somber theme to it as we tackle the thorny issue of Privacy.

First up is from Auntie Beeb, it is the news that the FBI are seeking to develop intelligence from information scraped from social networks.

Again from the BBC, this time Google are in the spotlight as they propose changes to their privacy settings to merge data from You Tube, Gmail, search, social network Google + and other services

This time from The Register but it is Google in trouble again as Virgin media customers complain that their email addresses have been used by Google, instead of being kept private.

From the register again, news that following the US Securities and Exchange Commission telling publicly listed companies that they need to disclose information about the Cyber attacks they had suffered, Facebook come clean...
