Starbucks reveal new logo
Starbucks have dropped the ‘Starbucks Coffee’ and unveiled a new, simplified version of their iconic siren design. The new design has faced much criticism over the web; will this be the Gap debacle all over again?
Rio 2016 logo
On New Year’s Eve the new Rio Olympics 2016 logo was revealed. Many have argued that the design is unoriginal and too safe. They design is based partly on the iconic Sugar Loaf Mountain but one critics argued it looks more like one of Brazil other famous exports: a thong! Creative review has given their critique, what do you think?

HMV to focus on digital sales
The company, which has been facing financial trouble recently has announced it is set to continue to focus on it digital content. The store has recently been hit with financial difficulty and is planning on closing around 60 stores to help offset loses it made over the Christmas period.
Amazon App Store
The online store has put plans in motion to build its own App store, initially selling Google Android apps. The store will open later this year and developers can already submit their apps to the store for approval.
Mackintosh Apps
Apple has launched their long awaited Mackintosh app store with over 1000 apps for use on their computers and laptops.
