The user experience team are currently 4 strong which does fluctuate with contractors. The long term plan is to grow the team once you have got your feet firmly under the table. The business have been without a Head of UX for the past few months and with a lots of big wins with a 3 super brands they need someone to help spearhead the UX team and facilitate their growth plans. They are in the process of moving to London Bridge with plans to continue the growth of their agency.
The MD is super keen for someone to bring lots of ideas and shape the direction of how the agency can continue to integrate UX into all projects and ensure they are at the heart of all new briefs. Naturally you will be a thought leader with a strong grasp on the latest trends and developments within the world of UX bringing in best practise to the teams process. This position will work collaboratively with the heads of departments across Creative, Technology, Planning and Project Management. The team consists of varying levels of ability and you will be responsible for their growth and development inspiring and guiding them through consistent mentorship and training.
The agency runs multiple streams of work with variety of clients, you will know some of their truly creative and socially focused campaign work. They bring a whole new meaning to campaign delivering worldwide projects over a year long as opposed to quick and dirty forgetful projects that we normally associate with campaign! You will be required to understand the team's workloads and be an advocate and representative of the UX function ensuring they are thought of at pitch stage. If you come from a brand side role then you will need to ensure you have demonstrated managing a team with multiple external facing projects.
If you want to step up into a UX lead within a large digital agency, or fancy a new challenge within an established UX team - then drop me a line.
