An internationally recognised brand consultancy is looking to grow their digital team with the addition of a middleweight digital designer.
The agency is nearly 10 years old, and has become very well respected in the branding arena. Over the past 1 ½ years they have started to concentrate on delivering multi-channel digital solutions to their client-base. They currently have a small digital team, consisting of a Creative Director, Design Director, and UX designer.
You will be working closely with all team members and largely supporting the hands on execution of websites, apps and experiential projects. You will also be expected to bring ideas, energy and enthusiasm to every project you work on and will be fully encouraged to challenge ideas to create the best possible solution. Whilst this is largely a collaborative environment, you should also be fully comfortable in working autonomously.
Your digital portfolio will ideally demonstrate a range of projects across different platforms that clearly explain your input. You will likely have been supported by art and creative directors and may have owned the visual execution of projects. It's also important that you work demonstrates a lean towards UI design as opposed to digital marketing.
Software wise, you should be advanced using Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Any experience with AfterEffects and Flash will be beneficial but by no means essential. Whilst you won't be developing anything, you should have a fundamental understanding of HTML (5), CSS (3), and Javascript in order to work effectively with developers.
This is an opportunity to not only grow and develop your skills, but to become part of an agency that is moving in the right direction. You will be responsible for the effectiveness of their digital department, where success could see continued growth in that area.
