User Experience Designer - Healthcare J1758

A leading healthcare informatics company are seeking their first permanent user experience hire to work on interfaces which enable knowledge-sharing and increase efficiency in healthcare across the UK.

This company provides a range of products across web, mobile and portable which visualise and deliver healthcare data to improve performance in hospitals. At the moment main users are heads of information or directors of performance in hospitals. The strategy is to share important medical knowledge with clinicians.

The information currently delivered is complex and difficult to digest, the challenge is to fold more work with users in research and testing to make their products more useable. My client champions the invaluable contribution user experience can make and having recently worked with a team of professionals is looking to grow the team.

You will be reporting to and working with the team that are responsible for ensuring new initiatives and established products are taken to market.

The main deliverables will be:

- producing interaction and interface design for new products and applications

- driving innovation in delivery in order to increase usage amongst clinicians and managers

- developing the long term user experience strategy and championing ux among internal stakeholders

- being involved in the full product lifecycle.

This company is around 60 people and are leaders in their field. Working here you will have the potential to transform the way medical information is delivered.
