User Experience Designer – Digital Design agency – Brighton - £60,000

Who fancies a little trip to the seaside? Lots of people moan about how they are stuck in the rat race of London town and would love to move far away, well this role can offer just that without having to compromise the quality of your work and process. A leading design agency based in Brighton is expanding their already sizeable UX outfit and need an experienced and talented UX architect.

This role would suit someone who wants to maintain the quality and variation of projects and work with likeminded user experience professionals but values their work life balance. The agency is very familiar with people relocating and will be more than happy to wait for the right person.

The agency has built a very impressive reputation for delivering high quality work across a number of world class brands. The team is made up of very experienced UX architects and designers that bring decades of knowledge from both agency and client side. The team are very mature in their approach and would like someone who has breadth of knowledge across multiple sectors and understands the pace and complexity of agency life.

The team are huge advocates of adopting a lean process beginning all projects with brainstorming ideas and concepts through lots of sketching to flesh out the main points of the project. Their projects are extremely varied working across all platforms from native apps to responsive design embracing new technology and techniques wherever possible. Their process normally includes a defined discovery phase which has been implemented from educating their clients with research and design insights therefore articulating your process is paramount.

The suitable candidate should have a portfolio demonstrating multi platform projects showing a clear process through various discovery processes including lots of sketching and ideation. The mix of understanding visual design and front end technologies is on their wish list especially working in a lean collaborative process. Finally, any experience of HTML prototyping would be a huge bonus to help work up ideas into workable prototypes ready to hand over to the devs but fear not if you are an Axure fan, you can use this as well.

Please do get in touch if this role sounds like your perfect role.
