Its brrr outside but its hotting-up for this start up. Zuckerberg eat yer heart
out.
We have a new User Interface Designer role at a start-up company in Shoreditch
who have been pitted to rival the social media giants. They will offer between
£30- 40k for this role, depending on experience, as well as offering stock
options.
This thriving company has built a platform on which businesses or communities
can build their own social networks. The product works mainly on a self-service
basis, however 10 % of clients choose a premium service whereby they receive
professional support with building their network and creating communities.
Already used in several countries, across different business and industry
networks and for customer research, here is a social media offering which can
really expand in a variety of directions. The scope of this platform is vast.
Our client is looking for their first user experience hire to join their growing
team of 24 people. Currently the product manager and company owner help create
the initial interface design, however they really understand the importance of
user experience and are therefore looking for someone to help implement it
effectively at the interface design stage. Our client needs someone to create
interfaces which don't only work, but are intuitive and a delight to use.
In this role you will be conducting user research, helping to structure the
interface and ultimately making sure the customer journeys and language are
user-centric. Ideally you will have had previous experience working on social
media projects, and will be someone who has a keen interest in online groups and
communities and how their members interact.
If you are interested in joining a thriving team working on a social media
platform with huge potential, if you have a passion for understanding online
social communities (which as a UXer, you probably do), and if you want to help
bring user experience practice to a bright but small team (with the added bonus
of stock options), then drop us a line about this role.
