We are working with one of the worlds most recognised tech companies, as they build out their team of world-class, highly experienced Product Designers in London.
With a user base of over 1 billion, the company already have a number of existing products and services but are just getting started on their mission - this means an appetite to constantly bring new and improved products to market that have a measurable impact on people's lives at a global scale.
The company have a large team of Product Designers, Researchers, Product Managers and Developers, but given the extensive range/complexity of products they build small, agile teams who can take complete ownership of a product or part of a product. As a Product Designer, you will partner with a researcher, Product Manager and a team of developers to own the end-to-end design process for key parts of the product. Your responsibilities will include:
- Brainstorming ideas for Product Innovation with other teams of designers and executives
- Working closely with researchers to take broad concepts and validate them into something of value for users
- Creating user-journeys and flows that make the complex feel simple
- Creating polished prototypes, and production ready visual design work
- Take new products/features to launch, and iterate to ensure they are the best that they can be
Suitable applicants will be considered Product Design leaders in their current position. You may be leading/managing a team of designers, or you may be a Design Lead who takes full ownership for the design quality/output for a current product - the core theme running through all of this is that you should have extensive experience concepting, designing, and launching Digital Products, and your skill level across Product Strategy, Interaction design, and Visual Design should be well balanced. Beyond your 'hands on' capabilities, you should also demonstrate a well-rounded set of soft-skills, including solid communication at all levels (Peer to director level) as you will be expected to give constructive critique to your team, as well as present your concepts/work to the senior leadership teams.
The salary on offer is broad to reflect the level of experience that you bring to the team, and you will be rewarded with an industry leading benefits package, that outstrips the vast majority of other companies in London. Outside of the core benefits, the company also has an incredible office space, and a culture that truly understands and values the difference design can make in an organisation.
