I am working with an exciting and growing eCommerce company specialising in performance road wear, accessories and publications for cyclists. The brand also includes physical locations, luxury travel and a cycling club with global membership. They currently have a Head of Product and a product owner, so this role will sit in between those two in terms of seniority. They are well respected brand in the cycling community, and would suit a cycling enthusiast, as employees are encouraged to connect with the sport and get out on the road on their bikes, often doing so together.

The business are about 150 people based in London, with their physical product developers also based in the same office. They work using agile/SCRUM methodologies so previous experience developing digital products in this environment is essential. You will report into the Head of Product and the main focus of the role over the next 12 months will be on their responsive web. You’ll own the end to end lifecycle through to launch and thereafter. You’ll work with their internal digital ecommerce team, liaising day to day with front end development, data scientists, digital rights management, performance and optimisation, design and web content. You will take ownership of the product roadmap and will be ultimately responsible for prioritisation of features and the backlog. They’re looking for someone with gravitas who can push back to stakeholder requests using data and industry knowledge to inform these choices.

Key requirements for this role:

  • Product Management experience within an eCommerce environment
  • Previous experience with a retail business with omnichannel knowledge/experience
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Have developed digital products using SCRUM/Agile methodologies
  • Ideally have an interested in cycling (not essential but preferred)

If you are an experienced Product Manager with a background in eCommerce and a passion for cycling, then get in touch ASAP
