Consultants / Senior Consultants
All Futureheads teams
- Contract type
Our teams are growing and we’re looking to hire experienced Consultants who are passionate about digital media and technology to specialise in one of our niche disciplines: digital tech, digital project management, user experience (UX), and digital product management.
What are we looking for?
- Our consultants focus on specialist skills-sets within the digital sector, therefore, if you’re interested in becoming a Futurehead it’s essential that you have a genuine interest in developing an in-depth understanding of the digital media and technology market. You’ll be bright and able to assimilate lots of information about our sector and all relevant market trends.
- You'll be immersed in all things digital in your role at Futureheads so it's ideal if you have prior experience of recruiting digital specialists, ideally in the specific skills sets of digital tech, user experience (UX), digital project management or digital product management. We are also open to hearing from specialists in related fields. Either way, we'll be looking for a quality-driven approach, a proven ability to build a network and well-honed account / business development skills.
- While you’ll be very niche in terms of sector you’ll be exposed to a broad client base, from cool creative agencies to investment banks, taking in charities and tech start-ups en route. Our consultants run ‘blended desks’, working across both temporary and permanent roles so that our clients have a seamless service from a specialist. This requires an adaptable approach and an ability to relate to a broad range of personalities and motivations across our candidate and client base.
- This is a '360-degree' consultancy role so it's ideal if you have experience of managing the recruitment process from end to end - from developing clients through to resourcing, matching and fulfilling their roles, as well as actively managing client accounts so that we have a long and happy business relationship. We share clients and candidates at Futureheads so, as well as identifying new clients, you'll also be measured on how you maintain good relationships with clients and candidates introduced to you by your colleagues, and how you create similar introductions for others in the team.
Am I a Futurehead?
We’re passionate about our company culture and are delighted that our business has been named a Great Place to Work ® 2016, ranking at number three in the UK small business category. So, as you can imagine, hiring people who fit and enhance our culture is really important to us. If you're an excellent communicator, collaborative and flexible, that's a good start. Proactive, brainy and curious – tick! Commercially astute and ambitious, even better. Fun mixed with professional and hardworking – time to get in touch with us.
We love a bit of learning
We expect lots of our staff and provide lots of training and support to help them become great. Our training programme is in-depth and tailored to each team member. Our Directors are very hands-on within the business and each team is led by a senior recruiter who is an expert in their field, so you’ll have a number of inspiring managers and mentors to learn from. Training is on-going and is delivered by a range of experts internally and externally, through formal training sessions and ‘on the job’ scenarios.
Our aim is to develop each member of the team into a senior specialist, so your learning and development is a continuous process throughout your career with Futureheads.
And we like to recognise and reward
We like to reward hard work and deliver a competitive OTE through good market salaries, commission schemes and ad hoc incentives. We’re transparent and fair and work hard to make sure you’re rewarded for what you contribute.
Money is important, however, it’s also about recognition and respect both within our business and in the wider market. A well done and thank you goes a long way.
